A Call to Prayer

Weekly Prayer

5/6/24

Lamentations 3:22-23

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Thank you, Lord, that your mercy never fails, never runs out and is always available. Help me renew my commitment to you daily and to never take your grace for granted. I know your love for me is endless and will never fail; help me be confident in this truth. Forgive me Lord when I forget. Thank you for this reminder that your mercy is always available and that I have access to it daily for any situation. Thank you for your faithfulness! Amen!

Mid-Week Prayer

5/1/24

Danes of Denmark

Please pray for a group of college students from the U.S. as they come alongside a church plant's young adult group in Copenhagen. Pray that this team's presence and witness will result in many gospel conversations with Danes and invitations to follow Christ. Ask God to build up the young believers in the church plant, so they will actively make disciples of others in this very secular city.

Weekly Prayer for Our Nation

“I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” Isaiah 1:26

It is always important to pray for our courts and our nation’s judges, but never has it been more important to do so than today. At this time, as we are praying for a pro-life ruling to come down from the Supreme Court, we should remember and ask God for the promises of Isaiah 1:26.

In Jesus’ name, we lift Chief Justice John Roberts up to you, Father. Use him to defend the unborn and restore life to our nation. Let all his decisions be fair and not influenced by any unholy or personal preferences. Let him rule in every decision as You desire him to rule. We ask for protection for him, all the Justices and their families from those who side with evil intent through intimidation and protests. Restore the judges as at first, Lord, according to Your Word. We give you all glory and praise, Amen.
